A 5-Day Free Online Masterclass On Oil & Gas Industry
Premium Workshop
For PEA Members Only
This training course will provide delegates a full and comprehensive picture of Oil & Gas Industry. Professional from Oil & Gas Industry and other relevant sectors are able to grasp clearly the critical activities at upstream, middle stream and downstream of this Industry. This training course will also offer contemporary methods in Oil & Gas Industry. A structured approach would be taken whereby delegates have opportunities to engage, relate and contextualise meaningfully the fundamentals of the Oil & Gas Industry.
Workshop Objectives
To understand the nature, practicalities and realities of the Oil & Gas Industry and it’s complexities
To critically review and appraise the Oil & Gas Lifecycle, e.g., exploration processes, reserves investigation, drilling, extraction methods, transportation, processing of crude Oil & Gas, refining and sale of products
To be aware of typical forms of agreements between exploration and production companies, host government and other related stakeholders (partners)
To probe the complete and integrated Oil & Gas Industry supply chain at Upstream, Middle stream and downstream.

Modern Reservoir Characterization : Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Traditional Methods
During this workshop, participants will develop a more comprehensive grasp of the geophysical theory of seismic inversion and explore advanced seismic reservoir characterization techniques. Discover the essential steps in the seismic reservoir characterization workflow using machine learning, covering data processing to inversion analysis. Acquire valuable knowledge applicable to your everyday projects. In classical reservoir characterization, it is commonly assumed that the reservoir exhibits both elastic and hydraulic isotropy. However, real reservoirs often exhibit anisotropic characteristics and spatial heterogeneity on multiple scales. Relying solely on core and log data may not accurately represent the larger reservoir volume. Therefore, the most effective way to accurately analyze the physical properties of most actual reservoirs, across their entire volume, involves utilizing advanced machine learning methods for acquired and interpreted seismic data.
