Description
The course will cover: well lifecycle, drilling rigs and types, well completion (design, objectives, classification), completion components, wellhead and Xmas trees, reservoir characteristics, reservoir drive mechanisms, reservoir calculations and laws, production stage, well classification as per production methods, well and reservoir management, well testing and sampling, reservoir monitoring plan.
Well intervention: wireline including slick line, braided line, e-line), coiled tubing applications.
Well kill methods: reverse circulation, forward circulation, bull heading, bleed and lubricate.
Cement plug using CT.
Well logging and types.
HSE principles and procedures.
Skin effect and formation damage.
Barrier theory and types.
